Street scenes and people of Cuba
Last month I was in Cuba at a very interesting time, just days after the U.S. announced the progressive restoration of diplomatic relations with the Caribbean country. That was indeed the topic that came up in virtually every conversation.
Cuba is a photographer’s paradise, full of life and colors in every corner.
Stay tuned for more images, also on my online catalog.

In Haiti
This year I will be spending several months in Haiti, working primarily for the Red Cross but also available for selected photography and video assignments.
Coming to the Caribbean is a big change of scene. It’s pretty much in the antipodes of Indonesia, but I am always happy to stay within the balmy tropics. It will be interesting to shake things up, work in a new region of the world, and expand my portfolio with new stories.
I will still be based in Indonesia and coming back often. No, you won’t get rid of me that easily!

Today’s office: Dili, East Timor
I am in East Timor, working on several stories and assignments until the end of the month.
Today’s office is a cafe in Dili’s beachfront.

Today’s office: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I am in Malaysia this week. Today I am working at Commas & Industry, a boutique public relations agency.
For the occasion, I got a special assistant across my desk: Disco the cat.
He seemed baffled — I think he was still figuring out the new features of Lightroom 5.
